The library’s digital archive will include a wide range of archive materials, such as photographs, manuscripts, oral histories, and other historical documents that capture the rich heritage of Sag Harbor. As this is JJML’s first digital archive platform, they will benefit from TIND’s full-service implementation support. TIND DA streamlines the process of ingesting, organizing and sharing digital collections, making them more accessible and discoverable for the local community and beyond, and preserving them for future generations.

“John Jermain Memorial Library Local History Archives Center chose TIND DA as it is at the forefront of digitization and will preserve the memories and history of Sag Harbor for generations to come,” said Catherine Tremblay, Archivist & Local Content Librarian at JJML. “The new platform will be an extension of the heart of Sag Harbor, and we hope other local institutions will join us in this endeavor.”

Public libraries such as San Francisco Public Library, Charlotte Mecklenburg Library and East Hampton Library are increasingly selecting TIND DA to preserve local historical collections and enhance their discoverability and accessibility. TIND DA’s user-friendly design, customizable workflows and powerful batch tools empower smaller teams to efficiently process, manage and showcase large volumes of archival material and digital collections.
