Saratoga Springs, NY and Oslo, Norway — 13 March 2026Skidmore College has selected TIND Institutional Repository to support the preservation, access, and discovery of its scholarly and creative output. A TIND partner since 2018, when the College first implemented TIND Digital Archive, Skidmore is now migrating from Digital Commons to consolidate its institutional repository and digital collections onto a single, integrated platform.

Reflecting on the decision, David Seiler, Head of Digital Projects and Collections, notes, “By consolidating our institutional repository and digital archive on a single TIND platform, Skidmore College will benefit from streamlined workflows for library staff, consistent metadata and discovery practices, and improved access across collections. The unified platform will also enhance the experience for researchers, students, and the broader public by strengthening connections between scholarly output and the College’s distinctive digital collections, ensuring that Skidmore’s scholarship is broadly discoverable beyond campus.”

This move builds on a relationship that began in 2018. As Seiler explains, “Over the past six years, our partnership with TIND has flourished alongside the expansion and reach of our Digital Collections,” he added. “In terms of service, support, and scalability, TIND DA has exceeded our expectations. With the implementation of TIND IR, we look forward to providing a more integrated experience for our patrons, and the opportunity to work again with the TIND team on this project is exciting.”
