Harrisonburg, Virginia and Oslo, Norway – June 02, 2020. TIND is pleased to announce that another U.S. academic library has chosen to migrate to the TIND ILS. Eastern Mennonite University is currently implementing the TIND ILS, migrating from a SirsiDynix instance of Symphony.
Audrey Schenk, Systems Librarian, said regarding the library’s decision to migrate to TIND:
“Older ILS systems start with approximating library paper-based tasks, tying us into strict workflows. TIND starts with library data, and enables us to mix and match the data to do what we need to do in the way we want to do it. The migration has provided the opportunity to rethink how we do our work in the library, allowing us to streamline our processes for greater efficiency. The TIND migration team has done a great job working with our data and communicating with us about each step of the process.”
TIND continues to provide an alternative for libraries desiring greater impact on the development of their software platform via a more collaborative relationship with their software provider.
