Lausanne, Switzerland and Oslo, Norway – September 7, 2018. TIND was selected by the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) to provide their cloud-based Institutional Repository (TIND IR), replacing locally developed Invenio Software. Infoscience, the EPFL institutional repository, is now successfully migrated to TIND's SaaS repository.

The system went live already in January 2018 and has been running smoothly ever since, already receiving thousands of new scientific publication submissions.

> "Replacing a 14-year-old platform is far from easy: no one wants to lose any data, functionalities or time. In addition, the switch to a new platform also has to be a seamless experience for the end users.

> Replacing Infoscience was indeed a challenge: you can only imagine how highly-customized a locally developed, 13-year-old repository had become. It really had become increasingly hard to maintain.
