With more than 5,000 students and a growing collection of digital content—including scholarly journals, conference proceedings, and archival collections—Cedarville required a flexible, scalable solution to support both academic publishing and long-term preservation of scholarly and historical materials.

Partnering with TIND provides us with a platform that prioritizes searching and locating relevant material. Reducing friction for our users ensures that our repository and archival holdings are easily navigated and accessed, improving our service to our patrons and our stewardship of the materials we hold,” said Joshua Michael, Dean of Library Services, Centennial Library, Cedarville University.

TIND IR offers powerful tools for publishing scholarly output, including support for DOI registration, flexible metadata, and customized submission workflows. TIND DA supports batch import and batch edit tools, long-term preservation, and streaming media, all within a clean and user-friendly interface. Together, the platform supports Cedarville’s wide variety of journals, proceedings, and events.

The entire Digital Services team is enthusiastic about the move to a combined TIND IR and TIND DA platform,” said Kathryn Carnegis, Digital Services Director, Centennial Library. TIND provides a visually appealing and simple interface for the repository’s global audience. On the backend, TIND’s data model will provide greater efficiency for our staff and help us eliminate data duplication in the repository and archives.

We needed a flexible and robust platform to facilitate the publication of our multiple unique journals, proceedings, and events. TIND’s customized submission forms and workflows offer the perfect solution. The team at TIND has been a pleasure to work with and we look forward to a successful partnership.
