Durham, NC, and Oslo, Norway, October 9, 2026. Duke University has gone live on TIND RDM, replacing Samvera Hyrax and giving Duke researchers a single home for the datasets they deposit and publish through the Duke Research Data Repository.

Over 450 datasets migrated to TIND RDM, with metadata remapped from extended Dublin Core to the DataCite schema and DOIs minted through Duke's own DataCite membership. Dataset versioning with DOI updates, tombstone pages for retracted records, and a role-based curator-review workflow were configured to match how Duke's data curators already work.
Duke joins a growing group of research universities using TIND RDM to publish, version, and preserve their research data.
