IMarEST selects TIND IR and TIND DA

Released March 10, 2022

London, UK and Oslo, Norway – March 11, 2022. The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMarEST) has selected the TIND Institutional Repository (TIND IR) and TIND Digital Archive (TIND DA). IMarEST will utilize the TIND platform to provide web-based repository access for its global membership to over 130 years published research across disciplines of marine engineering, science and technology. In addition, it will publish new content to TIND created by its membership for wider audiences and public benefit.

Daniel Stoker, Head of Technical, Policy & Content at the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology, IMarEST, commented:

“The need to publish and preserve informative and respected content for our members and wider audiences is something the IMarEST has been doing for more than 130 years. Our selection of TIND was based not only on its capabilities to protect and encourage discovery of our existing digital archive collection, but TIND will also enable us to meet our needs and future ambitions for publishing new content for and on behalf of our members and our wider audiences, regardless of their location.”
