Serving over 200,000 learners worldwide, including more than 3,000 students on its New Hampshire campus, SNHU is one of the largest nonprofit providers of higher education in the United States. The new repository will host close to 30 terabytes of content, supporting significant web traffic and a wide range of users. The migration includes a substantial backlog of existing digital material, which will be preserved, organized, and made accessible through the TIND platform.

“By providing a secure, accessible, and dynamic platform for scholarly and institutional materials, we’re ensuring that the academic legacy of SNHU is not only preserved but made available for generations to come,” said Ellen Phillips, Director of Open Educational Resources & Intellectual Property, and University Archivist at SNHU. “We’re excited to partner with TIND on this initiative and look forward to the opportunities it will unlock for our faculty, staff, and students.”

SNHU’s move to TIND brings previously siloed content into a cohesive system that supports both long-term preservation and public access. The new platform offers dedicated tools for managing a wide range of materials—from student work and research to archival records—while streamlining workflows for metadata, Digital Object Identifiers, submission, and file preservation. With a shared backend and a clean, user-friendly interface, it simplifies day-to-day operations and helps users discover and access content more easily.
