TIND Meets International Standards for Information Security with ISO 27001 Certification and SOC 2 Attestation

Released October 17, 2025

Oslo, Norway – October 17, 2024. TIND is now officially ISO 27001 certified and SOC 2 attested. These two internationally recognized standards confirm that TIND’s systems, processes, and infrastructure meet rigorous requirements for information security and data protection.

The certification and audit were conducted by MHM Professional Corporation, covering all hosted and cloud-based TIND services. The certification process included a comprehensive review of TIND’s infrastructure, policies, and operational practices. Independent auditors evaluated more than 200 controls related to system access, data handling, and risk management.

ISO 27001 is the world’s leading standard for managing information security. It provides a framework for how organizations establish, maintain, and improve controls to protect information. The certification covers all aspects of information security, from data access and encryption to employee training and incident management.

SOC 2, developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), is an independent attestation that verifies how an organization manages customer data. TIND’s SOC 2 Type II report focuses on the Security category, confirming that the company has effective controls in place to safeguard data and protect systems from unauthorized access.

“Achieving ISO 27001 certification and SOC 2 attestation confirms that our internal processes and infrastructure are built to meet recognized standards for security and reliability. It proves what our customers have experienced for years — that their data is safe with TIND,” says TIND CTO Audun Bjørkøy.

The certification and attestation apply across all TIND products, from digital archives and repositories to integrated library systems, ensuring that every customer benefits from the same high level of data protection and operational reliability.
