Oslo, Norway - April 26, 2024. The Library at the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration (NAV) has implemented TIND ILS as its new library system and successfully migrated from Ex Libris Alma. The library has also implemented TIND IR to manage a growing collection of born-digital material and TIND DA to manage their digitized collections. "TIND is a significantly less complex system than Alma and is a much better fit for smaller libraries like ours”, says Marte Salvesen and Cathrine Fjeldstad, librarians at NAV.

"TIND er et betydelig mindre komplekst system enn Alma og passer mye bedre for mindre bibliotek som vårt. Konsortiet burde inkludere ulike system som snakker sammen, ikke tvinge alle til å bruke samme system", sier Marte Salvesen og Cathrine Fjeldstad, bibliotekarer ved NAV.

Miami, FL, and Oslo, Norway – April 19, 2024. Florida International University (FIU) has selected TIND Digital Archive as its new digital library platform. Moving to TIND DA's flexible and scalable platform will provide discoverability and long-term access to FIU's ever growing digital collections. In transitioning from a locally hosted open-source system, FIU emphasized TIND's robust infrastructure, ongoing development, and accessible APIs as pivotal factors influencing their decision.

Exeter, NH, and Oslo, Norway – March 22, 2024. Phillips Exeter Academy, a renowned U.S. preparatory school, has selected TIND Digital Archive (TIND DA). This partnership marks an important step in the school's efforts to organize, preserve, and make accessible its extensive collection of historical photos, videos, and correspondence while also providing a user-friendly browsing experience for its patrons. 

Oslo, Norway – March 14, 2024. The University of Southern Indiana has selected TIND DA, adding their third TIND product in three years. TIND DA will be integrated into their existing TIND ILS and TIND IR install, further improving discoverability and accessibility to their collections. “Moving our ILS, IR, and DA to a single platform makes perfect sense for both library operations and for the end users.", says Becca Neel, Associate Director for Resource Management & UX. Warren, OH, and Oslo, Norway – January 26, 2024. The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library (WTCPL) has joined TIND’s expanding user group of public libraries by selecting the TIND Digital Archive (TIND DA). WTCPL will be migrating from Omeka. The library is looking forward to enhancing the discoverability and long-term preservation of their diverse collection of photographs, postcards, illustrations, and documents.

Los Alamitos, CA, and Oslo, Norway – September 8, 2023. TIND is pleased to announce the official launch of the digital history archive for the California Interscholastic Federation-Southern Section (CIF-SS). The platform will serve as a central repository capturing over 110 years of articles, photographs, and multimedia materials documenting the history of education-based athletics in Southern California.

Chicago, IL and Oslo, Norway – August 25, 2023. The Center for Research Libraries (CRL) has selected TIND Digital Archive to transfer and host its vast digital collection of more than 40 million files. By moving to TIND DA's robust and scalable platform, CRL seeks to improve the discoverability and long-term preservation of these materials. Migrating from a locally created system, CRL highlighted TIND’s user-friendly interface and the ability to handle batch operations as key reasons for their decision.

Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), a renowned public research university and medical center committed to research, education, and patient care, has successfully migrated from Samvera to the TIND Digital Archive (TIND DA) and TIND Institutional Repository (TIND IR) solutions. In selecting TIND DA and IR, OHSU continues its commitment to optimizing digital asset management workflows and enabling open access to scholarly works now in a shared platform.

Los Alamitos, CA, and Oslo, Norway – May 26, 2023. TIND DA has been selected by the California Interscholastic Federation-Southern Section (CIF-SS) to convey the history of education-based athletics in Southern California. Assistant Commissioner Thom Simmons at CIF-SS said they chose TIND DA because of its user-friendly and intuitive qualities: “We wanted to know that the historical database we utilized would be both user-friendly and easily responsive to those looking to research our holdings. With TIND we can provide that synergistic ability on a seamless platform for researcher and retiree alike.”
