Los Alamitos, CA, and Oslo, Norway – May 26, 2023. TIND DA has been selected by the California Interscholastic Federation-Southern Section (CIF-SS) to convey the history of education-based athletics in Southern California. Assistant Commissioner Thom Simmons at CIF-SS said they chose TIND DA because of its user-friendly and intuitive qualities: “We wanted to know that the historical database we utilized would be both user-friendly and easily responsive to those looking to research our holdings. With TIND we can provide that synergistic ability on a seamless platform for researcher and retiree alike.”

Charlotte, MI, and Oslo, Norway– March 10, 2023. The Charlotte Mecklenburg Library has successfully gone live on TIND DA, migrating more than 2,000 digital objects from a locally developed DAM solution. After selecting TIND DA due to its outstanding user experience and powerful metadata editing tools, the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library is excited to leverage the platform to make historical content accessible to the public, including videos, local newspapers, and historical artifacts. 

Ann Arbor, MI, and Oslo, Norway– March 10, 2023. TIND Research Data Management (TIND RDM) has been selected to power SOMAR, a new data repository dedicated to making social media data accessible to researchers. TIND RDM enables SOMAR to ingest and share large files while implementing new unique metadata fields for social media data. TIND’s turnkey solution was implemented in under two months, providing social media researchers with a faster and more effective way to store and share their data.

Portland, OR, and Oslo, Norway – January 20, 2023. The Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) has selected TIND Institutional Repository and TIND Digital Archive as new repository systems. By moving both systems to a single platform, OHSU can streamline access and workflows for all their digital holdings. OHSU is migrating from Samvera.

London, UK and Oslo, Norway – November 24, 2022. The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMarEST) has successfully migrated to the TIND Institutional Repository (TIND IR) and TIND Digital Archive (TIND DA). “Working with TIND to develop our new and refreshed Library has been really simple and a very positive experience. Hawaii, US and Oslo, Norway – October 28, 2022. The TIND Digital Archive has been selected by the Kealakai Center for Pacific Strings, launching the world's first digital archives of Hawaiian music history. The ability to accommodate culturally specific metadata fields, as well as supporting a wide range of media formats, are highlighted as key factors for selecting TIND DA. The Kealakai Center for Pacific Strings is a non-profit organization dedicated to the research, restoration, and celebration, of Hawaii and the Pacific region's enduring legacy in the musical arts and luthiery. 

London, UK and Oslo, Norway – March 11, 2022. The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMarEST) has selected the TIND Institutional Repository (TIND IR) and TIND Digital Archive (TIND DA). IMarEST will utilize the TIND platform to provide web-based repository access for its global membership to over 130 years published research across disciplines of marine engineering, science and technology. In addition, it will publish new content to TIND created by its membership for wider audiences and public benefit.

Charlotte, NC and Oslo, Norway – February 18, 2022. The Charlotte Mecklenburg Library has selected TIND DA, migrating more than 15,000 historical images from a locally developed DAM solution. TIND DA will also be home to forthcoming digitization projects, including the digitization of the local newspaper. Excellent user experience and powerful metadata editing tools are mentioned among the key reasons for selecting TIND DA.

East Hampton, NY and Oslo, Norway – January 21, 2022. The East Hampton Library has successfully migrated its Digital Long Island Collection from CONTENTdm to TIND DA, highlighting improved user experience and getting material online faster among key improvements. 

Boston, MA and Oslo, Norway - November 23, 2021 - TIND, a spin off from CERN specializing in innovative library software solutions, announced today that Matt Hall has joined their expanding team as VP of Business Development.
