Geneva, Switzerland and Oslo, Norway – June 10, 2023. The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (UN Human Rights) has selected TIND IR. The repository platform is implemented by the ​​Special Rapporteur on unilateral coercive measures to serve as a global resource for data collection and research. TIND IRs comprehensive feature set and user-friendly interface will ensure wide discoverability of the repository's extensive collection, allowing users to seamlessly submit and access relevant research.

Rome, Italy and Oslo, Norway – June 10, 2023. The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), a specialized agency of the United Nations, has successfully migrated to TIND ILS. Previously operating on Virtua by Innovative Interfaces, IFAD sought a modern and user-friendly system. With a successful transition to TIND ILS, IFAD is equipping its library with modern technology to streamline workflows and better serve its mission of rural development.

Los Alamitos, CA, and Oslo, Norway – May 26, 2023. TIND DA has been selected by the California Interscholastic Federation-Southern Section (CIF-SS) to convey the history of education-based athletics in Southern California. Assistant Commissioner Thom Simmons at CIF-SS said they chose TIND DA because of its user-friendly and intuitive qualities: “We wanted to know that the historical database we utilized would be both user-friendly and easily responsive to those looking to research our holdings. With TIND we can provide that synergistic ability on a seamless platform for researcher and retiree alike.”

St. Louis, MO, and Oslo, Norway - May 5, 20023. Washington University in St. Louis has gone live on TIND RDM. WashU Research Data (WURD) is an improved and upgraded data repository to better support the research mission of Washington University, replacing their previous BePress installation. Jennifer Moore, Head of Data Services, says that the new repository is a turning point for the organization: “We were able to incorporate key standards, such as DataCite metadata, persistent identifiers such as DOI, ORCIDid, ROR, integrate our local and the Data Curation Network’s quality review workflows, GitHub integration, and evaluation for FAIRness, and provide for long-term access and preservation. The stellar implementation team at TIND supported our customizations and data migration and was so responsive and easy to work with. We are delighted.”

Evansville, IN, and Oslo, Norway – April 14, 2023. The University of Southern Indiana (USI) is now live on the TIND Institutional Repository (TIND IR) and has fully integrated TIND IR with its existing TIND ILS install. Running both products in a single platform, USI has improved the discoverability of IR content for library users via catalog and discovery layer searches and established meaningful links between related IR and ILS records.

Charlotte, MI, and Oslo, Norway– March 10, 2023. The Charlotte Mecklenburg Library has successfully gone live on TIND DA, migrating more than 2,000 digital objects from a locally developed DAM solution. After selecting TIND DA due to its outstanding user experience and powerful metadata editing tools, the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library is excited to leverage the platform to make historical content accessible to the public, including videos, local newspapers, and historical artifacts. 

Ann Arbor, MI, and Oslo, Norway– March 10, 2023. TIND Research Data Management (TIND RDM) has been selected to power SOMAR, a new data repository dedicated to making social media data accessible to researchers. TIND RDM enables SOMAR to ingest and share large files while implementing new unique metadata fields for social media data. TIND’s turnkey solution was implemented in under two months, providing social media researchers with a faster and more effective way to store and share their data.

St. Louis, MO, and Oslo, Norway – February 10, 2023. Washington University in St. Louis has selected TIND RDM as its new research data repository, migrating from Digital Commons. TIND RDM will be used to share and publish datasets and supplemental files, including spreadsheets, protocols, field sheets, analysis scripts, and images. Supporting FAIR principles, integrating with DataCite, and offering a data curation workflow, TIND RDM offers WashU a strong foundation for sharing and publishing research data for long-term access and future use. 

Portland, OR, and Oslo, Norway – January 20, 2023. The Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) has selected TIND Institutional Repository and TIND Digital Archive as new repository systems. By moving both systems to a single platform, OHSU can streamline access and workflows for all their digital holdings. OHSU is migrating from Samvera.

Evansville, IN, and Oslo, Norway – December 16, 2022. The University of Southern Indiana (USI) has selected TIND IR, migrating from DSpace. USI has been running TIND ILS for two years and will integrate TIND IR into their existing ILS install. They are looking forward to streamlining access and workflows by moving both IR and ILS into a single platform. “We're excited to follow the continued development of both systems and look forward to further collaboration with TIND," says Becca Neel, Asst.
