The University of Southern Indiana Partners With TIND and EBSCO to Improve the Library’s Research Experience

TIND and EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) announce that the University of Southern Indiana (USI) has selected the TIND Integrated Library System (TIND ILS), migrating from Ex Libris’ Voyager system and will also transition its Primo discovery layer to EBSCO Discovery Service™ (EDS). The university will be able to use EDS with TIND ILS for real-time holdings information and integrate with GOBI and Harrassowitz, leveraging the TIND ILS real-time acquisition APIs.

Libraries using the TIND ILS are now able to use new functionality to streamline the acquisitions process. Utilizing the GobiAPI will allow TIND systems to fully integrate with the GOBI platform in real-time, facilitating the immediate transfer of bibliographic and order data from GOBI to TIND ILS.
